making of the droplet
In the summer of 2023, I embarked on an intimate journey, building a small floating dock on the river as my sanctuary to untangle thoughts and set intentions. Mornings began with a sunrise hike, followed by moments of clarity on the dock. Placing my hands in the flowing river became a ritual, voicing my goals and aspirations as droplets slid off my fingertips, merging with the current, carrying a piece of my essence toward an unknown destination.
The fascination grew as I pondered the trajectory of these droplets. Could they traverse the globe through transformation and evaporation, endlessly recycling? This sparked a newfound awareness of water in its myriad forms being both taken in and released at the same time: sweat beads on my skin, raindrops on the grass, the life-giving spring water I consumed, and even tears, a release and a catalyst for healing.
The profound realization unfolded: within a single drop of water resides immense potential. Intuitively, I began weaving rituals around water droplets into my daily life. Watering my plants became a reminder—a parallel to nurturing my dreams, each drop symbolizing effort towards sacred goals.
Witnessing the ripple effect caused by water droplets falling into the river mirrored life's small actions creating substantial changes. This insight seeped into my self-dialogue, where I began fostering kindness through thoughts and words towards myself with every sip of water I would drink, cultivating self-love destined to radiate outward to my family first, and then towards my community, my customers, and everyone I encounter.
One summer day, in honour of my current fascination I crafted a crystal piece resembling a water droplet—a wearable talisman encapsulating the lessons learned. I designed it to rest right on my skin in the neck notch – becoming an extension of me. Wearing it, I felt its subtle influence creating a tangible positive shift in my daily life for weeks until an unwavering certainty dawned: this minimal piece held the power to spark real change.
Thus, on August 2023, I resolved that on the first new moon of 2024, the DROPLET would be unleashed.
And so it begins—the unveiling of the DROPLET on January 11th, poised to impart its wisdom and energy.
